    For this Naples Private Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum Sightseeing Excursion, you will meet your local driver outside your Naples cruise port. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

    Excursion Notes
      • Excursion prices will be displayed in US dollars, but the balance must be paid in Euros, which will be indicated on your E-Ticket.
      • Entrance fees are NOT included. The Pompeii ruins entrance fee is 18 Euros per guest. Mount Vesuvius is 15 Euros per guest and the Herculaneum entrance fee is 11 Euros per guest. These fees may vary slightly.
      • We recommend bringing cash (Euros) for entrance fees, refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, and shopping.
      • Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.
      • Car seats are available for an additional 6 Euros fee to be paid on-site. Please let us know in advance to make the proper arrangements.
      • Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, if the requirements are not met, no refund will be granted.
    Excursion Restrictions
    • This excursion is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for guests with limited mobility.
    • Guests must be able to step in and out of the transportation.
    • Guests must be able to walk for more than 2 hours and to walk on paved gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines.
    • There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.

    This Naples Excursion operates rain or shine, within safety guidelines. The local cruise excursion operator will decide at the time of departure if there is a reason to postpone or cancel the excursion.

Most public restrooms require a small fee. Having a few local coins is highly recommended as they do not always make changes.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Naples Private Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum Sightseeing Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Naples Private Pompeii, Mt. Vesuvius, and Herculaneum Sightseeing Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

My family and I could not miss the chance to stop at the most famous historical sites. The excursion was long but totally worth it. Some sites are really crowded and we had to wait, but I would do it again. Loved it.

Our group of 5 took this excursion on April 2018 and had Daniel as our wonderful guide for the entire day, guiding us through the sites and history. Mt. Vesuvius is impressive and Pompeii is intact. Very professional, clean, brand new cars to transport us. Everything was perfect. We even had the opportunity to go wine tasting with Daniel (for an additional price) and we invited him to lunch.
