    The depth of the reefs on this snorkel excursion is between 15ft to 25ft. The actual reef visit will be determined by the captain according to weather/water conditions, guests' preferences, time available, and guest experience.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Private First Lady Boat Charter Excursion - Secluded Marine Park Snorkel and El Cielo Sandbar to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.

    For the Cozumel Private First Lady Boat Charter Excursion - Secluded Marine Park Snorkel and El Cielo Sandbar, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    • Your ship skips/misses the port.

The captain and first mate/ guide were outstanding. The boat was cLean and well kept. Our first stop was deep sea fishing. After a bit of instruction; we all got a chance to cast a line and troll it back. After fishing we snorkeled at a reef and a large star fish area. The guide and the boat stood with us the whole time. The guide even pointed out fish and coral formations. After snorting we spent about an 90 minutes on the sand bar. The water was calm as we swam with the stingrays. Lunch was delicious; consisting is fresh ceviche, salsa, chips, fresh fruit, and open bar. Couldn’t ask for a better excursion. Hands down- highly recommend

We had a group of 10 friends that took this boating excursion on 2/14/2020. We had an amazing time! The crew was extra accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Everyone on our trip caught a fish, and the crew later used the fish to make the best ceviche I've ever had in my life! The guacamole they also made was incredible! Our group liked to party, so they kept the drinks flowing and music loud. Luis also guided us and pointed out fish and a conch shell during our snorkeling adventure. Our group collectively agreed that this was the best day of our week long cruise vacation. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!

We took this tour with our family and really had lots of fun! We took the 5 hours tour to snorkel and do a little bit of fishing. The guides were very friendly and knowledgable and help us out a lot. The snorkeling spots were awesome we couldn´t ask for more and our grandchildren learn to use the fishing equipment, big dad had the luck to catch a big fish, but we decided to release it. Definitely, the excursion was worth the price and had a really memorable time with our family.

Short Review: Just do it. Luis and the Captain know where to go for the best experiences and they make it happen. Exceptional. The Best. A rock solid 5 out of 5 stars. Long Review: Our private group of four very experienced adult snorkelers (30+ years snorkeling worldwide) with two dozen plus snorkeling trips on the Cozumel reefs. We met with Luis (the exceptional guide) and the Captain, and reviewed what we wanted to visit on this trip: Columbia shallows, Palancar, and El Cielo. Luis said Punta Sur was calm that day and we could work that in too. YES! He also knew where the star fish were congregating and said we could add that in too. YES! (One of our group is a starfish fanatic). First, we dropped into Punta Sur and drift snorkeled the full length of the reef. Outstanding variety of fish and coral. Good water, good current. That stop showed me Luis and the Captain really knew the sites, currents, and water conditions. Punta Sur can be tricky. I told Luis that he was so good that we would just go with his instincts (not my detailed directions) and drop us in the best locations that day. We drift snorkeled in Columbia shallows, swam over to Planacar, drift snorkeled in Planacar, re boarded, dropped in and swam with the starfish, and ended the day swimming with the rays in El Ceilo. In total, five locations, and five absolutely exceptional in-water experiences. We saw one particular fish on the Columbia reef which no one in my group had ever seen before, and Luis and the Captain identified it. Other than that, Luis simply followed along with us in the water as we drift snorkeled and let us do our thing, but kept a good watch over us and the current. That was exactly what we were looking for in a guide - support and assistance if we needed it, but no mothering. At our last stop, El Cielo, the Captain prepared an outstanding cerviche, guacamole and fruit plate lunch. Equal or better than any 5-star restaurant (and with really, really fresh fish). My group has snorkeled in excursion groups and by other private charter boats, every major snorkel site in Cozumel. Never have we had any trip reached the heights of excellence that was provided by Luis and the Captain. They are a rock solid 5 out of 5 stars.

This has been the most incredible day ever! The crew and the service had been absolutely amazing. We had small children and the crew were so kind and helpful to their needs. We have traveled the world but nothing compares to the wonderful experience we had today. Luis was especially kind to our children + the captain was an incredible chef. Stop reading reviews, just book this. We arrived early at the marina - took us <25 min to get off the boat and there. Everyone at the marina was very helpful in directing us to the boat. We figured we'd have to wait, but Luis and the captain loaded us up and off we went. We did a little fishing first, then 2 snorkeling stops, saw the starfish then to El Cielo. They made lunch out of some of the fish we caught and brought out fruit and freshly made guacamole. Luis took us snorkeling, he is very familiar with reef and pointed out everything we should take note of, all the while keeping an eye on everyone and making sure all were safe. The Captain is the skilled fisherman and snagged quite a few fish the girls could "catch" by reeling them in. This was just a great day, there was something for everyone to do, we all had fun and the guys were great hosts. Would highly recommend and book again if back in Cozumel!

Wow Best Snorkel excursion ever! This was the highlight of our trip. Jairo(The Captain) and Luis were Awesome, My picky 15 yr old son said this was the best thing he did in our trip. Beaches were Beautiful. I do not know how to swim and Luis helped me so that I can snorkel for the first time, While we had fun they were preparing Guacamole and Ceviche which was Amazing yum. We will definitely go back and do this excursion again. Thank you

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Great bunch of guys, super friendly, very easy to communcate with, and they catered to our every need. The boat was very spacious with plenty of room for the 7 of us and the 3 crew members. The crew prepared a Ceviche with fish and guacamole it was all AMAZING! They also had plenty to drink. We went on the 4 hour Excursion Fishing catching beautiful Mahi Mahi and Snorkeling at two different locations that were beautiful. One was a shallow sandbar with star fish and there were tons of rays swimming around in the chest deep water. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The crew even made sure we caught a cab back to port. THANK YOU!

Great day on a beautiful boat and excellent crew! Jairo and Roberto were more than accommodating, we went snorkeling, then fishing for just one hour and caught 3 Mahi-Mahi!!! Spent some time at "Cielou" and Jairo prepared a Ceviche with the fresh fish. What a wonderful day. Thank you all on the First Lady!

I have been to Cozumel many times on cruises and this time came for a week's stay. El Cielo has been on my Wish List for many years. This time we decided to go and booked this excursion to take the family. It was fabulous from start to finish. The boat was spacious enough for my husband and 3 kids with room to spare. The captain was very nice and spoke pretty good English especially considering it is not his native language. The ride to Cielo was fast and we stopped to snorkel at one of the reefs before we got there. The snorkeling equipment was brand new and in excellant shape. They took us for a short snorkel and showed us lots of fish. Then it was on to El Cielo just a few minutes away. It is a large, very shallow bay that is like a big sand bar. The depth ranges from chest deep to a few inches as you get closer to shore. There were a few other boats but it was not crowded. We floated in the water and snorkeled there as well. We saw several star fish on the bottom that Cielo is famous for but also some small rays swimming around. They are harmless so do not be scared! The captain had drinks for us onboard as well as some killer guacamole! 2 thumbs up on that. He offered to let us do some fishing too but we just wanted to stay at El Cielo. My husband said the fishing gear was really nice and talked to the captain for awhile - he has helped catch some award winning fish in tournaments. This was just a great option and are so glad we did it. Our only regret is that we did not book for the full day 8 hours but only did 5 hours. We know for next time!
