“Forged wheels are one piece, made from a forged process. They have these giant chunks of metal that go into a 10,000-ton press to molecularize, crush this material to be extremely strong.”
“And that is why forging is better than cast or flow form type process. Forged wheels are also super lightweight, so strong and lightweight. When we make the VR Forged wheels, we do a neural bead inside the wheel that allows the tire to sit in the wheel.”
“This can be good for running low pressure and it will still grip in there really nicely. You can get less expensive wheels on an F-150 or a Raptor are just a cast wheel.”
