There is a stop close to the cruise ship piers in Stockholm. With just a short walk, you will be on the bus and ready to see the sights. Guests can choose just to stay on board for the entire loop which is approximately 100 minutes. Or hop off at any or all of the stops. Although some of the names are hard to pronounce, Stockholm is a beautiful city to explore. Guests can listen to the commentary on provided headsets in 11 different languages.
Music fans of the 80's band ABBA can hop off at stop 10 and explore the museum. History buffs might want to see the Vasa Museum at stop 11. the museum displays the only almost fully intact 17th-century ship that has ever been salvaged, the 64-gun warship Vasa that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628. The route will go through Old Town. Old Town is also known as Gamla Stan; it is one of the largest and best-preserved medieval city centers in Europe. This is where Stockholm was founded in 1252. Located within Old Town are the Stockholm Cathedral, the Nobel Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Royal Armory. You can see Stortorget, the oldest square in Stockholm along with the narrowest alley that is only 90 centimeters at its narrowest, Marten Trotzigs Alley. Or for something unusual, hop off at stop 17 and visit the Ice Bar. Note that entrance to the attractions is not included.
