Your adventure begins by meeting your excursion guide outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole or Port of Roatan at Mahogany Bay). You will then board an air-conditioned vehicle and head toward the East End of Roatan Island, where you’ll enjoy amazing sightseeing, a native boat experience through the mangrove gardens, biking, and a beach break!
As you drive to your first stop, your professional Shore Excursion guide will share fascinating stories about Roatan’s colorful history and culture, including tales of pirates, slaves, and buried treasures. Your panoramic ride will take you through the fishing towns of French Harbor and French Cay, before heading into the mountains, offering great photo opportunities of this lush, jungle-covered island off the coast of Honduras.
After your smooth and relaxing ride in air-conditioned comfort, your friendly guides will take you on your E-bike adventure. They will lead you on a leisurely-paced ride along scenic roads and through the green rainforest. Time permitting, you may even enjoy a slow-paced ride along the beach. On occasion, depending on weather and time, you may head up into the hilltops for stunning views. The ride will last about 45 minutes, and small children can ride along with their parents or a guide.
Next, you’ll indulge in an incredible food-tasting experience, the perfect way to explore Roatan's rich culinary heritage and traditional flavors! You’ll sample local homemade dishes that will exceed even the most demanding expectations, such as Honduran-made nachos, mini cakes, fried or garlic shrimp, fried plantains, rice and beans, tamarind juice, maracuya juice, lemonade, orange juice, water, or soda!
Finally, your excursion guide will take you to a relaxing beach visit. Whether you prefer to swim, sunbathe, or simply admire the serene surroundings, this beach escape is the perfect way to end your day. Enjoy 30 to 45 minutes to catch your breath, grab a cold drink, or simply enjoy the view at this pristine Roatan beach. Lounge chairs, restrooms, and other facilities are available on-site.
At the end of your day, simply hop back onto your transportation for a comfortable ride back to your cruise terminal. You’ll have the option to either return to your ship and relax or continue exploring Roatan at your leisure, time permitting.
