    Excursion Notes

      • The parasail boats can host up to 12 passengers.
      • Each flight lasts between 8-12 minutes.
      • Tandem or triple passenger flights are determined on-site, taking into consideration weight distribution for the safety of all passengers.

    Excursion Restrictions

    • The minimum age to participate in this excursion is 5 years old.
    • The minimum age to fly solo is 16 years old and parents or guardians must sign a waiver.
    • The maximum weight for tandem flights (up to 3 guests) is 500 lbs.
    • This excursion is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for guests with limited mobility.

    How long is the boat ride?
     You will be on the boat for up to an hour as each group is sent up for their parasail flight. On average guests get up to 8-15 minutes per flight. These are the longest flight times in Key West.
    Is there parking for parasailing?
    There is a city-operated parking lot on Caroline St. for $4 US an hour, as well as metered street parking and a nearby garage on James and Grinnel Street.
    How many people can fly together?
    A maximum of 3 participants can fly together if the combined weight does not exceed 500 lbs.
    Are there lockers at the parasail check-in?
    No, unfortunately, there are no lockers at the check-in location. We encourage guests to bring limited belongings with them as there is limited space on the parasail boats as well.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Key West Parasailing Shore Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Key West Parasailing Shore Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
