    The meeting point for the Cozumel Catamaran Marine Park Snorkel, Cielo Sandbar, with Lunch Excursion is a short taxi ride from your cruise ship terminal in Cozumel. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.


    What is included?
    • English-speaking PADI-certified snorkel shore excursion guides.
    • Marine toilet on board the catamaran boat.
    • Bottled water, sodas, beer, and soft drinks on board the catamaran.
    • Complimentary draft beer, rum punch, and Margaritas after the snorkeling portion.

    Excursion Notes
      • We suggest you bring a towel, a waterproof camera, and cash for tips, additional purchases, etc.
      • Please consider the marine park fee is not included; this will be collected by the local vendor, and the cost is $11.00 per person.
    • Not available on Sundays
    Excursion Restrictions
    • The minimum snorkeling age is 10 years old, maximum participation age is 70 years old.
    • The maximum weight is 260lbs (118Kg).
    • Guests must be able to climb up a ladder to get back into the boat.
    • This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
    • All participants must be proficient swimmers, in GOOD health, and self-sufficient.
    • The use of a life vest during the snorkeling activity is mandatory with no exception.
    • Participants must comply with all of the instructions given by the Vessel Captain and/or its crew.
    • Under-aged participants must be accompanied, directly supervised, and cared for by the responsible Companion, Parent (s)-or Legal Guardian at all times.
    • Alcoholic Beverages will be served AFTER the Snorkeling activity only.

    Does this include beach break?
    No, this snorkeling excursion does not include a beach break; you will be dropped off at the same location you were picked up.
    What are the food options?
    You can choose one of the 4 options available. These are Poc Chuc (pork steak) with refried beans, Chicken pibil with rice, Cochinita pibil (pulled pork in annatto sauce) with beans, “Tzic” de res (shredded beef with vegetables).
    Are there vegetarian or gluten-free options?
    Regrettably, special dietary needs are not accommodated on this excursion.
    Do I need to take my passport with me on the Cozumel Catamaran Marine Park Snorkel, Cielo Sandbar, with Lunch Excursion to show with my Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket?
    No, it is not necessary to take along your passport unless noted by your cruise line or listed in the Restrictions or Notes tab for the excursion. Your local operator has your booking noted. Please arrive with a printed copy of your eticket or digital copy if applicable.
    Cancellation

    For the Cozumel Catamaran Marine Park Snorkel, Cielo Sandbar, with Lunch Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.

    For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:

    • Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
    • Your ship skips/misses the port.
    • Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
    • A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
    • Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
    • Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

This was an excellent tour. The boat crew and dive masters were excellent. The boat was very nice, clean, new and safe. The snorkelling was excellent and the dive masters were extremely helpful, even as a beginner I was very comfortable and they helped me have fun. I highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I enjoyed this excursion back in April. The boat was great. The snorkeling was nice but the depth was a little too much (15-30 ft). The gear was great and the guides were excellent (the best snorkling guides I've had...sorry do not remember their names). My wife does not like to snorkel but the guides were able to get her in the water and she enjoyed the whole trip! The stop a Playa Mia is perfect, a little rushed but thats what excursions with multiple stops are like. The resort is really nice, the buffet had a large selection and was as good or better than the food on the ship. You are at the resort long enough to eat and relax...only you want to say :) The boat ride back was the best part, we enjoyed drinks and dancing on the deck. I will definately be back!

I wish there were more tours like this one. The boat is really beautiful and there is so much room - we liked hanging out in the very front. There were some people that just stayed on the boat to soak up the sun. Just the snorkeling part and the boat trip was great but then the boat took us to Playa Mia and the day got even better. Included was the buffet which we went back to a couple of time because there were so many choices. We would recommend this to everyone, even if you don't snorkel.

My family did this back at the middle of January and had a wonderful time. The snorkeling was good but not fabulous although everyone had a great time. We snorkeled for about an hour and then the boat took us to Playa Mia. We had open buffet and got to use all of the things at the beach club. The only negative things I can say is that it did not have open bar at the beach club (although there was open bar on the catamaran) and the minimum age is 10yrs old.
